Reflections of Color by Elissa Carroll

“What inspires me is the vibrancy of color and the way that natural light hits my subject. Join us for an art reception for Elissa Carroll Saturday, June 9 from 2 to 4.

“What inspires me is the vibrancy of color and the way that natural light hits my subject. Perhaps it’s the morning sun lighting up the trees or the evening sun creating a reflection on the surface of the Sound. I am intrigued by the colors, lighting and shadowing of our world. Every moment in nature is a shift and movement of color. Light changes the colors in an instant and I enjoy capturing that movement in my paintings and sharing that moment in time.”

Elissa received her Bachelor’s degree from Montserrat College of Art in Massachusetts with a major in illustration. She has worked as an artist professionally for over 25 years doing illustrations, commercial murals, private commissions, gallery exhibitions and design consulting.

The exhibit runs from March 3 through March 29
