From ancient Greek mythology, to the war dogs, pets, and hunting dogs of Rome, look at examples in classical art to learn how man’s best friend preserved the life, limb, and property of his master.

Presented by Michael Norris, Ph.D. in art history, who spent twenty years at the Cloisters Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and has lectured on trips all over the world.
