The Rye Free Reading Room is open for browsing, using a PC, or studying without an appointment.

Please come to the main door, located under the American flag. Check in with the staff member at the welcome desk to confirm your appointment.

You must wear a mask for entry in to the building, and throughout your entire visit. If you are unable to wear a mask, please use the curbside pick-up service, and place your holds and requests through the catalog or over the phone.

Follow social distancing guidelines during your visit in the library, and use the hand sanitizing stations available throughout the building. Please follow the guidance arrows on the floor to reduce the amount of cross traffic. Please exit through the patio door.

No food or beverage of any kind is permitted in the library at this time.

Children ages 2 and up will be required to practice social distancing and wear masks in accordance with Federal, State, and local guidelines.

Please use the bookdrop for all returned materials.
