The Osborn Retirement Community is offering a free lecture on Wednesday, October 24 from 7:30-8:30 pm featuring Dr. Charlotte Tomaino on controlling and strengthening brain functions. Tomaino, author of AWAKENING THE BRAIN: THE NEUROPSYCHOLOGY OF GRACE, offers tips and tools on how to use repetition of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions to reinforce and control our ability to focus. As a former nun with 30 years of experience helping people recovering from traumatic brain injuries, learning disabilities, post-traumatic stress disorder, Tomaino’s unique perspective offers a fresh look at making conscious choices to alleviate stress and keep your brain at its optimal state.
AWAKENING THE BRAIN teaches readers to access the brain’s full potential and its awe-inspiring ability to change in order to gain greater control over mental and physical health and enhancing wellness.
