Play Readings At The Osborn
COME SEE “COMIC MISCOMMUNICATIONS” WITH FRANCES STERNHAGEN AND JOHN CUNNINGHAM AT THE OSBORN
You’re invited to The Osborn on Thursday, September 27th at 7:30pm to see Frances Sternhagen and John Cunningham perform “Comic Miscommunications” in the Sterling Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.
“Comic Miscommunications” will be a delight with selections from various plays including Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, Romulus Linney’s Tennessee, Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor, to name a few.
Rye is so fortunate to have Ms. Sternhagen and Mr. Cunningham living nearby and so generous with their time and talent. Ms. Sternhagen received two Tony awards for her performances in The Good Doctor and The Heires, and was nominated for Tonys for her work Equus, On Golden Pond, The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window, Angel, and Morning’s At Seven. She is well-known to many for her television credits on Cheers, The Closer, ER and Sex and the City. Mr. Cunningham has performed on and off Broadway including in Six Degrees of Separation, and The Sisters Rosensweig, and the original casts of Cabaret, 1776, Company, and Sunday in the Park with George. His films include Two Weeks Notice, Nixon, Dead Poets Society, and Mystic Pizza, and on television in Damages. The Good Wife, and 30 Rock.
