“Granny Jean Klein” is well-versed in early childhood development. She introduces babies and toddlers to language, letters, and simple stories through playful rhymes, songs, and puppetry. Parents and caregivers participate with the children at the library and are encouraged to continue the activites at home. Because the program is often a young child’s first experience in an audience setting, it is important that adults strive to arrive on time and actively help children focus on the presentation. 20 minutes
