Jazz vocalist Michelle LeBlanc has been performing on Hudson Valley jazz club and concert stages since the early 1990’s. She is a popular bandleader, working with many Hudson Valley jazz greats including Bill Crow, Ed Xiques, Calloway Brooks, Tom Kohl, Jeff Tillman, Ron Vincent, David Amram, Joe Puma and Carmen Leggio.  Michelle has performed on several New York City stages including The Friars Club, The Riverside Chapel, Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room with the Cab Calloway Tribute Orchestra and at Town Hall as part of the annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Foundation showcase.

Michelle incorporates her love of American history into her performances by producing an ever-growing repertoire that celebrates jazz music as a way of telling the story of America. This special concert will feature songs and stories tracing the development of jazz through historical events that generated this uniquely American art form.
