Learn to communicate and converse like a native – or at least improve your speaking skills at the library. Class is held every Wednesday afternoon from 12:15 to 1:30 pm. This class is led by Vincent Byrne, an experienced literacy teacher, who relies on the dialogue method of teaching to help his students become comfortable and even proficient in English speech. Mr. Byrne has remarked, “It is a gift to be able to help newcomers adjust to their new environment and surroundings. Teaching also expands my own horizons by learning about new cultures and customs.” This program is for adults with a working knowledge of English. Class size is limited. Please call 231-3161 for information or to sign up.
