Our youngest explorers will find something new just for them during their next visit to the library -- a Little Tikes Young Explorer PC funded by the Auxiliary Board.

With the technology age in full force, we think it is essential that children at the earliest ages gain a comfort level with computers.  The benefits include enhanced critical and cognitive thinking skills, problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

The Young Explorer station includes software to help children ages 3-7 not only grow comfortable with computers, but also develop essential reading, math and thinking skills in a fun, creative environment they’ll be sure to enjoy.  A valid library card, and an eagerness to learn, is all that’s needed to use the new PC for a 30 minute session.

Our thanks go out to the library’s Auxiliary Board for funding this new computer for the little ones.
