Volunteer at the Library
Volunteers lend their time and considerable talent to the library each year. Would you like to pitch in, too?
The time, energy, talent and enthusiasm of community volunteers are crucial to the success of the library. Volunteers help with fundraising and special events, including: Wheels Go ‘Round Vehicle Fair, Teddy Bear Parade, Butterfield’s Picnic, Book Sale and Cocktails & Conversations. Volunteers also presented programs, exhibited art, landscaped and decorated the library.
Our volunteers include adults with skills in storytelling, literacy, knitting and flower arranging; students earning community service hours; and a host of others with creative minds, skilled hands and a shared commitment to making the library ever more a part of our community.
Interested in volunteering? Contact Maria Lagonia, Managing Librarian, at 231-3166 to find out what opportunities are available.
