Volunteer at the Library
The time, energy, talent and enthusiasm of community volunteers are crucial to the success of the library. Volunteers help with fundraising and special events, including: Wheels Go ‘Round Vehicle Fair, Teddy Bear Parade, Butterfield’s Picnic, Book Sale and Cocktails & Conversations. Volunteers also presented programs, exhibited art, landscaped and decorated the library.
Our volunteers include adults with skills in storytelling, literacy, knitting and flower arranging; students earning community service hours; older children creating felt board stories and puppets for younger ones; and a host of others with creative minds, skilled hands and a shared commitment to making the library ever more a part of our community.
