Overview of the Rye Free Reading Room Auxiliary Board
Thank you to the dedicated members of the Auxiliary Board, whose hard work and creative efforts enhance and enrich the library every day.
Through their fundraisers, like Vehicle Fair, which raised over $27,000 in 2011, they help to support ongoing programs such as Mother Goose, Wiggle Giggle and Summer Reading, as well as contribute funds for the collection and overall operations of the library. In addition, members coordinate many of the free programs, events, author visits and guest speakers that help make the library a valued member of the community. This year it’s the Fuzzy Lemons that performed on the Vilalge Green on October 9th.
Thank you to everyone in the community who attended and contributed to these events, as well as the many who volunteered their valuable time to make them a success.
